Harvest of miracles at RCCG Redemption Camp

Woman gives birth after 21 years of barrenness
Adeboye promises total restoration for Nigerians

It was a thunderous applause and rendition of Hallelujah that rented the air all over the Redemption Camp as Mrs. Idowu Abiodun, who married in 1995 testified on how she gave birth to a baby girl after 21 years of barrenness.
Sharing her testimony at the on-going 2016 Holy Ghost Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), which began on Monday, tagged: ‘Complete Restoration,’ Idowu said God restored her marriage through the prayers of the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
That was just one of the numerous testimonies that have been shared at the one-week spiritual clinic ending tomorrow at KM 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Another lady gave glory to God for restoring her mother from mental disorder.

According to her, “we have to leave the house because of my mother’s sickness. Afterwards, we returned home because we had problem with the person we were staying with. I joined a church around where she was staying and prayed for her and God took control and restored her.

A woman also testified of how her husband told her to go back to her family because he was impotent. “I got married in 2004, later I got to know that my husband could not impregnate a woman and I told God that God must restore him and in 2010, I got pregnant and gave birth to a baby and later, God blessed us with twins.”
Ministering, Pastor Adeboye told the worshippers to hold fast unto God and be real Christians if they want the blessings of God. He stated that any society that is secret does not belong to God and that born again Christians should not be happy if they still have unbelievers in their families, adding that he has ensured that all the members of his family gave their lives to Christ.

“”Some Christians still join secret society. If our society is so good, why are we holding secret meetings? We should submit ourselves to God completely and the devil will flee. If you are not covered with the blood of Jesus, you cannot command the devil to leave your home,” Adeboye said, adding that the devil is out to destroy people’s lives.
He advised the congregation to always obey the voice of God, and gave example of when God told him to give out the only two jeeps he had at a time; Lexus Jeep and Lincoln Navigator even when it was not convenient.
“A voice told me not to give out the cars as directed by God and told me that after all Samuel made mistakes seven times in the house of Jesse before David was eventually picked as the king to succeed Saul.

“I almost listened to the voice, but I insisted on obeying the voice of God, who I believe was the one that spoke to me about the cars initially. Thank God I did not allow the devil to confuse me to disobey God,” he said.
Speaking on the opening night of the Holy Ghost Congress, the Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), Matthew Ashimolowo, preached on the power of thanksgiving and led the congregation to pray intensely.

The ongoing programme is a spiritual gathering of expectant worshippers desiring divine solutions to their numerous socio-economic and very often health challenges, including some out-of-the-ordinary phenomenons like bareness and deadly medical situations.
The spiritual fiesta since its inception on December 18, 1998 with a theme; “Divine Visitation,” at the Lekki area of Lagos, has been yearly underscored by undeniable spectacular miraculous occurrences, which attracts millions of people to Redemption Camp.
