THREE Man City player banned after incidents vs. Chelsea

Pep Guardiola will have to make do without three of Man City's key players for the trip to Leicester City on Saturday. The Man City trio of Sergio Aguero, Fernandinho and Nicolas Otamendi will all miss the club’s game against defending champions Leicester next weekend.
The bans arise from their involvement in last Saturday’s heated clash against Chelsea, a contest the Citizens lost 3-1.
Otamendi is the man to suffer the least time on the sidelines. The Argentine defender picked up his fifth yellow card of the season for a 17th-minute offense, which automatically means a one-game ban.Fernandinho, whose altercation with Chelsea’s Fabregas went physical, will serve a three-game suspension for his straight red card.
This means the Brazilian, who has been one of Guardiola’s favorites since his summer arrival at Man City, will miss the EPL games against Leicester, Watford and Arsenal.
Fabregas, who replays suggested had slapped his counterpart on the face, will not face any punitive action as per a statement on the FA’s website.
Aguero has been dealt the heaviest punishment. His horror tackle on David Luiz on Saturday has earned him a four-game ban, meaning that he can only return in January after missing the Boxing Day visit of Hull City.
Speaking ahead of their Champions League clash against Celtic on Tuesday, Man City boss Pep Guardiola confirmed that he would play a much-changed side for the game, with the North-West outfit having already qualified for the last-16.
He however refused to confirm whether Aguero would play despite his domestic ban.
“There will be changes tomorrow definitely,” the 45-year-old told the press. “I’m so happy to be able to give minutes to people who deserve to play who perhaps didn’t play the last game
“That doesn’t mean it won’t be important to me. I will demand the best from those players. If Sergio is going to play or not, I will decide today or tomorrow. I don’t know right know.”
In addition to the players’ bans, the FA has charged both Chelsea and Man City for “failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour”.
